Age Concern Romsey and District

Help us keep the hall open.

We are an independent local charity. Donations, and what we earn hiring out the hall, are what keep it running.

“I have been coming to Twenty Twelve for the last 12 years, since my husband died. It keeps me active and I really look forward to coming. It's so friendly, and if you need company it is an amazing place to be.”

Questions about donating?

Where exactly does my money go?

Into running Linden Road Hall. The groups themselves are run by volunteers and cover their own costs, so what donations pay for is the building they all depend on: the heating, the lighting, the upkeep and the insurance.

How does Gift Aid work?

If you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim an extra 25p from HMRC for every £1 you give, at no cost to you. You tick a box when you donate to confirm you are eligible. You can update or cancel the declaration at any time.

Can I cancel a monthly donation?

Yes, at any time. You can cancel from your bank or card statement, or email us and we will stop the next payment. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

Is my payment secure?

All payments are processed by Stripe using bank-grade encryption. We never see or store your card details, and we never share your information with third parties.

Can I donate by cheque or bank transfer?

Yes. Cheques can be made payable to Age Concern Romsey and District and posted to the office at 24 Linden Road, Romsey, SO51 8DB. For a bank transfer, email us and we will send our account details.

Who can I contact about my donation?

Email office@ageconcernromsey.org.uk or call 01794 518817. The office is open Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 2pm. Wednesday 11.30 to 2.30pm.
